Our Vision

To be a people with heart!  To be a come as you are church, making disciples of the un-churched in Rapid City South Dakota, and surrounding communities in the Black Hills region, and the un-reached around the world.

Four Fold Purpose of First Assembly of God Church

To exalt the Lord Jesus Christ; to edify and educate His people, and to evangelize the world:

1. Exalt - Which means a commitment to corporate worship (John 4:24; John 10:21), individual praise (Psalms 34:1) and cultivating a lifestyle of prayer and thanksgiving (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18). {UPWARD}

2. Edification - (Ephesians 4:11-12) which means a commitment to healthy relationships (Romans 12:18); encouraging one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11) and building up one another in their faith, through accountability (James 5:16), a lifestyle of servant hood, and seeking the fullness of God's Spirit. {INWARD}

3. Education - A commitment to read, study and apply God's written Word, the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16); and to cultivate a lifestyle of obedience to its principles.  To disciple Believers in the ways of God.  {OUTWARD}

4. Evangelize - A commitment to the Great Commission across the street and around the world (Matthew 28:19-20); the winning and discipling of new believers (Colossians 1:28); and cultivating a lifestyle of soul winning (John 17:18; Acts 1:8).  {ONWARD}
